Investment Team

Peter Harrison

Managing Partner & CEO

Peter is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Loft Capital, sitting on the Board of Directors and leading the Investment Committee.
Manages the investment strategy for Loft Capital and is responsible for overseeing fundraising, deal structuring and portfolio management.
Previously worked as a Senior Associate at one of Europe’s leading Structured PIPE investor for six years, overseeing investments in over 30 PIPE transactions with a total deal value exceeding 300 million Euros.
Holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Finance with distinction from CASS Business School.
Native speaker of English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

James Harrison

Non-Executive Director &

Investment Committee member

James served for the last 20 years as the director of two Cayman registered venture capital funds, with mandates to invest in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Served as Director of equity research for Lisbon Brokers between 2000-2005 and previously as senior equity analyst for Midas Investimentos, acquired by BBVA in 1999.
Started his career as an institutional equity analyst in London for Schroders, Hoare Govett and LCF Edmond de Rothschild, covering the Spanish equity markets.

David Taib

Investment Committee member

David is a Strategy and Investment Advisor at Menomadin Group, a leading European family office.
Holds board observer seats at Momentick and enSights, representing Menomadin.
Previously held roles in strategy consulting at Talkdesk and NOS in Portugal, as well as roles in wealth management at Millenium BCP, and as an analyst at a structured PIPE fund.
Holds a BSc in Business Management from NOVA SBE and a MSc in Finance from CASS Business School.

Sandro Bartoli

Non-Executive Director

Sandro serves on multiple board of directors and committees for various investment funds regulated by the MFSA.
Founded Quest Investment Services Ltd., which was later purchased by Sparkasse Bank in 2011.
Holds various AML, compliance and corporate governance qualifications from the UK Institute of Directors and is a qualified investment adviser (CeFA).
Started his career as an investment advisor and stock trader on the Malta Stock Exchange.
